Australian Arrow Pty. Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yazaki
Corporation in Japan, which comprises of 170 companies at 437 business
sites in 39 countries and employs approximately 160,000 employees. By
June 2009, annual net sales of the Yazaki group amounted to almost 1.05
trillion Yen (~US$11b).Since 1974, Yazaki has
expanded its operations in Australia to become the pre-eminent designer
and manufacturer of electrical distribution systems and electronic
products, supplying the Australian car industry, as well as exporting to
South East Asia, the United States and Europe. In 1996 the company name
changed to Australian Arrow Pty Ltd and with facilities in Victoria,
South Australia and the independent republic of Samoa, AAPL's Oceanic
operation now employs approximately 1,000 people.
In January 2009, AAPL moved into its new headquarter at 46
Lathams Road. This new building, with its 5,000m² of office and
laboratory space as well as 3,500m² of production and warehouse
space, now houses AAPL's electronics cleanroom manufacturing as
well as the state-of-the-art testing facility, a wiring harness
prototype shop and metrology.

The Company's Environmental Policy is based on sustainable processes,
and the operations are fully controlled to meet all relevant
environmental legislations and regulations. In 2010 AAPL also formalised
its position on Corporate Social Responsibility by launching its own CSR
policy.
